We are pleased to share that Dowel has contributed to two BRIDGE Annual Activity Reports (2025–2026), published in July 2026. These reports bring together the expertise of Horizon Europe energy research and innovation projects to advance collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the market uptake of innovative energy solutions across Europe.
Business Models Working Group – Annual Activity Report 2025–2026
Dowel contributed to the BRIDGE Business Models Working Group Annual Activity Report, which reflects the collaborative work of participants from 88 Horizon Europe energy projects. The report explores practical approaches to developing and capturing business models that can accelerate the commercialisation of innovative energy solutions. It also presents progress on identifying promising BRIDGE products and services through a pilot repository, helping bridge the gap between research results and market deployment.

Regulation Working Group – Annual Activity Report 2025–2026
Dowel also contributed to the BRIDGE Regulation Working Group Annual Activity Report, which examines how Europe’s regulatory framework can better support the energy transition. Drawing on insights from Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects, the report highlights the need for more coherent, interoperable, and implementation-oriented regulation to enable the large-scale deployment of innovations in flexibility, energy sharing, sector coupling, and network operation.
